I have had to roll back the upgrade to Windows 7 so that I can use my laptop. I have asked them if there is a compatible driver for another model ofdisplay adapter but so far no useful reply. I checked the manufacturer web site and it only shows a Windows 7 driver.
The driver for the display adaptor on the laptop is also not available for a windows 10 update at the moment.
I have asked AOC if they can provide a Windows 10 monitor driver for my 2436Swa model, but they advise that do not now support thismodel.I don't want to have to buy a new monitor just to use Windows 10.Why does the Generic PnP driver not offer a resolution of 1920 x 1080? Is there an expectation that you will enhance the basic monitor driver to cover 1920x1080 resolution, and if so how soon?Is there any other way around this issue?ThanksJohn Newcomb (UK). The maximum resolution on the Windows 10 Generic PnP monitor driver is 1600x? And this significantly distorts my display.
